Indianapolis, IN Nov. 6 -- Mayer Fabrics is pleased to introduce several exciting new collections at Healthcare Design 08. Our first Privacy Curtain Fabric Collection, Solstice, features six patterns in 26 soothing color combinations. The fabrics of the Solstice Collection are treated with BioAm antimicrobial technology, which is friendly to the environment, containing no arsenic or heavy metals. They are also treated with recyclable Nano-Tex stain repellant finish. Designed to work in tandem with our award winning Solace Crypton Green Collection, Solstice reflects a spirit of tranquility as well as hope and new beginnings.

Also new for 2008 is Punch vinyl upholstery fabric. It has been armed with the most advanced technology for killing MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) and does so without releasing any chemicals into the waste stream or harming human health. The non-leaching Nanocide^TM Antimicrobial Silver Ion treatment cannot be washed away, worn off or depleted. Its effectiveness is as powerful at the end of its life cycle as it is in the beginning.

Our ongoing commitment to function and a renewed emphasis on our design ideals underlies our 2008 mantra, Mayer by design. As we place greater emphasis on the hospitality and healthcare markets, our color palette expands with the addition of Ice Blue, Latte, Green Tea, Thistle, Wasabi and Cloak, which are featured throughout the line.
