Indianapolis, IN 10.21.09 – Mayer Fabrics’ Crypton and Crypton Green Collection fill the need for large- to medium- scale performance fabrics in healthcare, hospitality, educational, and retail settings. Five Crypton Green patterns - Paradise, Solaris, Swank, Tangram and Whimsy – are included in the collection. Crypton Green is a designation which ensures stringent environmental characteristics are met in addition to Crypton’s performance properties. Crypton Green fabrics pass emissions testing from Scientific Certification Systems. They have reduced or eliminated formaldehyde, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). They also adhere or contribute to several known industry standards including LEED-CI, the Collaborative for High Performance Schools’ section 01350 and the Green Guide for Health Care.

The pattern Paradise features a classical floral design reminiscent of Italian botanical documents. Grand in scale and sophisticated in construction, Paradise is available in a rich color palette including colors such as indigo, persimmon and green earth. Through the interplay of undulating stripes, broken circles and a variety of subtle weave elements, Solaris enhances and expands the contemporary portion of our Crypton Green offering. It’s available in seven earthy color combinations.

Swank is a coordinating chenille texture featuring an allover grid along with the use of subtle color differences in the warp and fill combinations. A wide color palette ranges from natural hues like Sandalwood to bright shades such as Marigold. Tangram represents colorful geometry on a large scale. The juxtaposition of earthy and jewel tones create a fun and versatile fabric for hospitality, educational or healthcare applications.Randomly placed leaves and petals create a medium-scale foliage design in the pattern Whimsy. It’s available in nine colors from neutral Sandalwood to vibrant Tiger Lilly. Amadeus is a Crypton Super Fabric with high recycled polyester yarn content. Amadeus is a large-scale botanical motif with allover patterning available in colors ranging from Natural to Vermillion.
